Classic White Oak - A Side

 
Thickness/Stärke:  4/4" hit or miss 25,4 mm
Width/Breite:  3"-8" ripped after KD to fixed widths/geschnitten nach KD in Fixbreiten 
Length/Länge:  5'-14' cut to fixed lengths/gekappt in Fixlängen

The A-Side is a high quality product allowing limited sap, defects and color variations. Limited end-splits are also allowed. If wane appears, it will come out in the milling process.                                                                                           

Classic White Oak - B Side

Measurment like the A-Side.

The B-Side of the classic blank allows more defects than the A-Side. Sap and color are not defect. Limited checking, wane and end splits are allowed.

Contemporary White Oak - A Side

Thickness/Stärke:  4/4" hit or miss 25,4 mm
Width/Breite:  3"-8" ripped after KD to fixed widths/geschnitten 
nach KD in Fixbreiten
Length/Länge: 4'-14' cut to fixed lengths/gekappt Fixlängen  

The A-side allows large knots that can sometimes be filled. If a 
knot cannot be filled high quality cuttings can be obtained.
Sap and color are not a defect. Limited end-splits are
allowed. If wane appears, it will come out in the milling process.

Contemporary White Oak - B Side 

Measurement like the A-Side.

The B-side of the "Contemporary" blank allows more knots and 
varied defects (such as checking) than the A-side.
Sap and color are not a defect. Limited end-splits and 
limited wane are allowed.

Traditional White Oak - A Side

Width/Breite:  3"-8" ripped after KD to fixed widths/ 
geschnitten nach KD in Fixbreiten
Length/Länge:  3'-14' cut to fixed lengths/gekappt in Fixlängen

The A-side allows many knots, sound (can be filled) and unsound (must be cut out). The cuttings will be shorter than the "Contemporary" product. Sap and color are not a defect. End-splits are allowed. If wane appears it will come out in the milling process.

Colonial White Oak - A Side
